WHY THIS PROJECT ?

This project arose from the recognition that industrial processes emit gigatons of CO2 each year. Mitico aims to reduce the complexity and cost of carbon capture, transforming carbon neutrality from a cost center into a revenue source.

THE MISSION

Mitico's mission is to provide accessible carbon capture technology and services to mitigate the impact of industrial emissions on people and the climate. Their carbon capture and monitoring technology is designed to be affordable, simple, and environmentally friendly. The goal is to enable industries, including those that are challenging to decarbonize, to achieve carbon neutrality.

A DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION

Mitico's disruptive idea is to make carbon capture economically viable and accessible to a wide range of industries. They achieve this by offering:

- Easy-to-implement and user-friendly capture technology.

- Competitive capital (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) costs, enabling affordable carbon neutrality.

- Use of low environmental impact materials with no dangerous by-products.

- A business model based on the sale of the platform and a subscription per ton of CO2 captured.

- Utilization of tax credits and financial incentives to turn carbon emissions into a profit source.

POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE SOCIETY

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure : The team is developing innovative carbon capture technology to make carbon neutrality more accessible. The company invests in R&D to improve and scale up its systems.

SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production : Mitico's technology promotes responsible production by helping industries lower their carbon footprint. It uses non-toxic, abundant materials and generates no harmful by-products, supporting sustainability.

SDG 13: Climate Action : The company's core mission is to capture and purify CO2 from industrial sources. Its technology aims to reduce the climate impact of industrial emissions by providing an affordable, simple, and eco-friendly carbon capture solution.

LEVERAGING THE 3DEXPERIENCE PLATFORM

The team plans to use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to connect its various products within its design and engineering processes. The goal is to enhance collaboration among teams and optimize the development of its solutions, including the design of its chemical sorbents.

COLLABORATIVE & COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE

Mitico adopts a collaborative approach with its clients to identify the best solutions for reducing their carbon footprint. The team works closely with clients to understand their main sources of emissions and tailor solutions to their specific needs. Additionally, while they provide the technology for CO2 capture, purification, and monitoring, they collaborate with partners for CO2 utilization and sequestration. This collaborative approach allows the company to focus on its core competency in carbon capture while benefiting from the expertise of partners in complementary fields.
